Jewelry Carrying Cases - Needed When On
The Go
Jewelry
carrying cases are often seen around a busy city. Sometimes
in movies also - the plot revolves around a black leather
jewelry carrying case. No one really pays much attention to
the small balding man hurrying across a cross-walk with a
couple jewelry carrying cases stuck under each arm. Why
should we notice this person, what is in the cases we have
no idea. Sometimes what is in these cases are expensive
diamonds worth millions of dollars, other times it is
costume jewelry that is worth nothing. I should point out
here, that if real diamonds were being carried by a little
balding man alone, I’m fairly sure he would be assaulted and
lose his load. Expensive diamonds would surely be
transported by a professional security firm.
Jewelry
carrying cases are different shapes and sizes. Some look
expensive and thus project an image of expensive contents,
while others look cheap and carry cheap. Jewelry salespeople
always carry a case full of jewelry samples that they are
able to procure and sell to a store or some other outlet.
Make no mistake - the small unimportant jewelry store relies
on these on these people dropping by each month offering
deals on the latest trinket trends. Flea marketer’s often
see these people coming through the flea market gates hours
before opening time. They kneel before owners of accessory
stalls, producing an array of different types of costume
jewelry.
One such
case is the jewelry carrying case kit. This kit includes 25
different items. First of all there is a black leather case.
Within this case are 12 one inch trays – all velvet finished
and easily removed. There are also 12 black velvet pads
which, like the trays, are easily removed. This kit retails
for the modest price of $70.00 and because of its array of
different add-ons is truly one of the Jewelry carrying cases
that we ubiquitous see walking our city streets. One other
case is the faux black leather carrying case. Although the
case is leather, its exterior is covered with velvet giving
the impression that expensive items are carried within. The
case also includes 14 chain snaps, a bottom tray slotted to
carry 12 pairs of earrings, two velvet pads and a partridge
in a pear tree. Well not quite, the partridge has been
released.
Some
women have their own jewelry carrying cases. I have seen
friends moving house and the wives of these friends, walk
out of their old house carrying two or sometimes three
jewelry carrying cases. I find myself asking the inevitable
question, “Is your wife rich?”
